TO MATCH OR NOT TO MATCH?
Double D- and no men, I am not talking about a well endowed women, more to the point of the hot fashion trend that's all the rage this season. Double denim, Is this years marmite trend.
When is too much literally too much, in my eyes when it become contrived and un imaginative. Plus double denim just reminds me of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake's denim ensemble at the MTV Awards, way back when.
One of the key trends to come out for the summer is the double denim look and while this may well conjure up images of Bros in the eighties, the look is truly back on the catwalk and all over the High Street, not to mention that yummy D&G ad campaign.
David Beckham is probably the celeb who has pulled it off the best, without looking like a 1980s cowboy. The golden rule when it comes to Double D, is to ensure that both denims are indeed different colours, and washes, so it is a uber cool and relaxed style.
However back to the question at hand, to match or not to match? I personally am against the idea this season. I say let your imagination run wild….clash it, mix it, and swap it!!!!
